Gov. Easley Signs “Clean Lakes” Bill
Thanks in part to NCPIRG advocacy, Gov. Easley signed into law the Clean Lakes bill on July 15. Sen. Janet Cowell and Reps. Jennifer Weiss, Grier Martin, Pricey Harrison and Carolyn Justice championed the law in the legislature prior to its passage.
